Very rare small 5 1/2 inch size and only 4 inch thick canteen . Note hand forged bands raised spout and original thick green paint . This super example also has remains of leather strap on sides and where the shoulder strap broke off. Note This canteen being dark green could very well be for Rogers Rangers in the American Rev War. Just super hard to find example . Nice and tight and all original .
